“ZUSpicious” Of Customer’s Silhouette: Is There A Lack Of Privacy At ZUS Coffee’s Restrooms?

The point of public restrooms is so that people can use them undisturbed and not worry about privacy. Unfortunately, there have been cases of creeps trying to spy on victims by following them into these restrooms with some disguising themselves to avoid any suspicion.

Thankfully, most restrooms are safe. However, customers may still need to check on the restrooms’ doors as others might still be able to see through. Here’s why:

On Wednesday (27th December), a netizen who goes by @/wadisiarjuna tweeted a photo of what they claimed to be the door of a ZUS Coffee outlet’s restroom. While the door was not transparent, the frosted glass did reveal a very visible silhouette of someone’s trousers and underwear (and possibly more), as seen in the photo above.

“I think ZUS Coffee’s toilet stall doors could be slightly improved,” the Twitter user wrote. Unfortunately, the netizen did not specify which ZUS Coffee outlet the photo was taken nor did they provide any information on whether this door is standardised in every outlet. The post quickly went viral with many being taken aback by the photo. Some were even suspicious if it was a male toilet in the first place – or were there more than one person in the toilet.

A few even pointed out that they could see the silhouette of the customer’s privates (yikes!). There were also those who shared similar experiences of seeing more than they should have because of the public restroom’s door design.

It is currently unknown if ZUS Coffee is aware of this issue but a few netizens have tagged them in the post so hopefully they’ll respond to the viral photo or provide some clarification.
