(Video) “Shell’s New Owner”: Netizens Amused By Cat Wearing Shell Uniform At Penang Outlet

While they may sometimes get on our nerves, cats often amuse us with their comical antics. Whether it’s their humorous reactions to us or simply their quirky presence, they never fail to entertain. A recent incident involving a young makeup artist who decided to doll up her furry friend is a perfect example of this.

Earlier this week, a video went viral on TikTok, with 837.4 thousand views (at the time of writing) regarding a new furry worker at a petrol station. Posted by user @/ziaa with the caption “SHELL’s new worker,” it shows a video of a cat that can be seen ‘monitoring’ the petrol station.

According to the user, the video was filmed at a local Shell petrol station in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In the footage, a white cat with greyish markings can be seen stylishly sporting the iconic yellow and red Shell uniform, calmly observing the cars and passers-by. The scene created the impression that the cat was actually working at the petrol station, keeping an eye on the staff.

Thanks to the feline’s antics, Malaysian netizens flooded the comments section with humorous responses. Many local users playfully suggested that the cat was the petrol station’s owner, present to oversee the workers and conduct inspections.

There were also locals who joked that it was the cat’s first day on the job and that it was waiting for instructions from those in charge. Another claimed the cat had to find a job so that it could save some money to pay for its food, Whiskas. There were also questions from netizens asking if this was the cat’s part-time job and wondering how much it was paid to work there.
