Looking to get your pink fix? Then look no further than these epic new shoe drops.

From bombastically-bold blush kicks to handmade embroidered artworks-cum-shoes, these footwear brand collabs will have you tickled pink.

PLEASURES x ASICS GEL-NYC

It goes without saying that the ASICS GEL-NYC is the most successful line of product the brand has ever released. Since its inception, it has become the most beloved kicks among fans and, as a result, the subject of various collaborations and redesigns from other famous brands. However, all previous collaborations pale in comparison to PLEASURES’s new version of the beloved shoe.

That’s right, the Los Angeles-based fashion label has once again joined forces with the famous Japanese sportswear brand to create an all-new design for us to enjoy. Let’s start with its most iconic details: the lavender ripstop base. The entire shoe is made with this breathable material down to its core, allowing for a relaxed and comfortable running experience. Furthermore, the choice of lavender is an absolutely striking change from the typical grey that this line of shoes is known for.

A bright and almost pale orange streak across the side of the shoe, alongside a dark purple hue, forms the iconic cross hatch pattern ASICS shoes are known for. This shade of orange also dots the shoe’s tongue, heel, and collar.

Breaking this festival of bright colour is a dark chocolate brown that lines the majority of the shoe’s lower half. This colour and suede material is largely used as the shoe’s mudguard as well as the GEL-backed sole unit. However, you can still see brown tones encircling the lace guards as a means of breaking up the vibrant colours of the shoe’s upper half.

And to seal the deal, the shoe is co-branded; you’ll find the ASICS logo right by the heel, while the word “PLEASURES” can be seen right above the toe box; the latter brand/logo is facing the wearer for them to read whenever they decide to look down.

The PLEASURES x ASICS GEL-NYC will be available for purchase on 11th October via PLEASURES and HBX web stores and select physical retailers.

Jack Harlow x New Balance 1906R “Rose Runner”

Ever since Jack Harlow took on the role as ambassador of New Balance back in February 2022, fans have been eagerly waiting to see what the two have in store for them. The wait will soon end – the rapper’s first sneakers design will drop later this year with the New Balance 1906R.

The 2010 running classic is transformed into pure casual elegance with the performance-minded design and technical elements reinterpreted as a fusion of rich, elevated materials and a lush floral palette.

Firstly, the shoe features a cotton textile upper with an all-over, embroidery-style floral print overlaid with pink leather. Upon closer inspection, you will notice the body is absolutely covered in pink floral motifs on an off-white backdrop. Because of this, the shoe has been aptly named the 1906R “Rose Runner.”

A deep green midsole and heel cage provide a solid colour base for the rose motif, while a velvet tongue and laces are a playfully luxurious finishing touches.

An absolute standout in the design is the insole, which features watercolour paintings of a man and woman. The addition of these paintings and their significance are not officially explained, but maybe, when the shoe is formally released, more information will become available.

The Jack Harlow x New Balance 1906R “Rose Runner” will be available for purchase via the New Balance webstore on 4th October.
