KUCHING: The customs department seized 10 luxury vehicles worth RM8,129,825 from a warehouse here on Sept 2.
Sarawak customs director Norizan Yahya said the vehicles were suspected to have been imported without duties paid and were stored in an unlicensed warehouse.
He said the case is being investigated under the Customs Act 1967 and the offenders could face a fine of up to RM50,000, imprisonment for up to five years, or both, upon conviction.
