Samsung has opened up preorders for its latest Odyssey gaming monitors. This includes the glasses-free Odyssey 3D, the G8, and G9.
The 3D or G980XF is the brand’s first 27-inch 4K gaming monitor, featuring an IPS panel and a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms GTG response time. As advertised, the monitor offers users a glasses-free 3D viewing experience, plus a nice, heavy flat base to complement the monitor.
Moving on, the Odyssey G8 comes in two sizes, 27-inches and 32-inches. Regardless of size, both models offer a QD-OLED panel and a maximum resolution of 4K, plus a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz and a 0.03ms response time.
Lastly, the Odyssey G9 is Samsung’s ultrawide gaming behemoth. With a 49-inch VA Panel, the monitor offers a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and 1ms GTG response time, as well as the 32:9 aspect ratio, making it an ideal peripheral for those that love to keep multiple browsers windows open, or if you want to see more of your surroundings in-game.
Preorders for the new Odyssey monitor start from today and will continue until 20 April 2025. For those that registered their interested between 24 March and 6 April, Samsung says you should have already received your RM300 e-voucher. In addition to the preorder period, the brand is also offer rebates of up to RM1,000, depending on the models you’re planning on purchasing. Below its the list.
