The term of the new tourbillon “OSEM” has its roots in Tsarist Russia and simply means “eight.” The representation of the number eight is made possible in this timepiece by two specially-crafted guilloché rings, giving it a unique aesthetic dimension.
However, the significance of the number eight extends beyond linguistic and visual aspects. In many cultures, including the Chinese, the number eight is considered auspicious, signifying good fortune. This positive connotation adds another facet that goes beyond mere functional timekeeping.
The watch embodies traditional classic design in line with the style of Poljot International.
