NoFloods pilot project has potential to curb road flooding

The Flood Mitigation Technology pilot project or NoFloods, which is at the proof of concept stage, is seen to be effective in addressing the flood problem and minimising the impact of road cuts due to the disaster.

Works Minister Alexander Nanta Linggi said the 300m-long product at Section 6.30, Federal Road FT189 in Jertih, Terengganu, is the result of the collaboration between the Works Ministry and a concessionaire which will be installed from Oct 1 until March 31, 2025.
