PUTRAJAYA: Attorney-General (AG) Dusuki Mokhtar has sidestepped queries on whether the AG’s Chambers received the house arrest addendum for former prime minister Najib Razak.
“I will not comment,” he said at the sidelines of the opening of the legal year at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre here.
Najib’s lawyer Shafee Abdullah told the Court of Appeal on Monday that the addendum was sent by the palace on Jan 29, 2024, to the then AG, Ahmad Terrirudin Salleh, when it was issued.
Terrirudin, who was appointed as a Federal Court judge in November, was also at the opening of the legal year but evaded reporters.
