Bursa Malaysia’s 30-stock index closed higher today, breaching the key 1,600 level.
The rally was reinforced by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s testimony yesterday, in which he signalled that the Federal Reserve is in no rush to ease interest rates further.
The ringgit strengthened to 4.4700 against the greenback.
On the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin traded slightly lower at RM431,201.
Ethereum and Solana were also lower at RM11,751 and RM876 respectively.
