Not long after sunrise, we spent a good 45 minutes exploring Jelutong market in Penang, Malaysia. The market is at peak busyness during the early morning and incredibly photogenic with the soft golden glow from the sunrise.
I spent the morning shooting photos with my Fujifilm X-H1 and 50mmF2, but I was also interested in testing out a modified vlogging setup for my GH5. I recently bought a Sennheiser AVX-MKE2 wireless lav mic and wondered how suitable it would be for vlogging. This vlog in particular, was a great test to see how well it could perform in various noisy scenarios. Sidenote: This video has been uploaded in 2:1 aspect ratio rather than 16:9. I’m really liking the look of it, especially on mobile devices, but let me know what you think!
