Lenovo today announced the Yoga Slim 7x. The laptop is the first generation Copilot+ PC of the brands and more importantly, marks the first machine by the brand to be powered by Qualcomm’s ARM-based Snapdragon X Elite.
To quickly recap, the Snapdragon X Series of processors was officially launched back in April and comprises the X Elite and X Plus. Both CPUs are ARM-based processors, which is the main highlight.
Besides the Snapdragon X Elite, other specs of the Yoga Slim 7x include up to 32GB LPDDR5X RAM running at 8448MHz, up to 1TB PCIe NVMe Gen4, a 70Whr battery, three USB4 ports in the form of USB-C, support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3.
For its display the Yoga Slim 7x has a 14.5-inch 3K (2,944 x 1,840) 90Hz PureSight OLED panel, with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Additionally, it has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, is VESA-Certified DisplayHDR True Black 600, and supports Dolby Vision. Lastly, the laptop weighs in at 1.28kg and has a thickness of 12.9mm.
At the time of writing, Lenovo did not specify local availability of pricing.
