KUALA LUMPUR MALAYSIA TOURIST SPOT – WHAT TO DO AND WHERE TO GO? – travel guide 2019

Few are the list of the most beautiful Kuala Lumpur tourist spot:

CHINA TOWN PETALING STREET- This Chinatown KL map caters to those looking to explore one of KL’s most historical districts, where they can find lively street markets, hawker stalls and Chinese eateries, as well as hipster cafes offering freshly brewed coffee and homemade cakes all day long. Chinatown is also a well-known bargain hunter’s paradise – Petaling Street is a long stretch of road filled with hundreds of stalls where you can find all sorts of stuff from Chinese herbs to imitation goods. lots of affordable airbnb and hotels near china town. For info check : www.hotels.com

KOTA RAYA- One of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest malls, Kota Raya Shopping Complex is a worthwhile place to browse for inexpensive clothes, fabric, handbags and even shoes. Though it does not have the same polished exterior of newer KL malls such as Pavilion KL, Suria KLCC and Lot 10, it is still attracts a loyal fan base of budget shoppers who come to shop for reasonably-priced goods in an air-conditioned mall with conveniently-located restaurants (including fast food chain MacDonald’s) under its roof.

CHINA TOWN-Kuala Lumpur Chinatown is a fun area known for its bustle and exotica, so expect to find shopping bargains of a lifetime along its busy, narrow streets. Perhaps its best offerings are located within the matrix of streets lining Jalan Petaling where the notorious Petaling Street market can be found – here, you will find a mind-boggling collection of fake-label fragrances, handbags, shoes, sunglasses, and watches. Alternatively, if it is house ware, souvenirs and spices you are after, visit Central Market, an indoor market housing stalls that sell artwork by the city’s creative community.

JALAN ALOR- Jalan Alor is a unique food destination in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The whole character of the city changes when you step onto the street. Gone are the modern shopping malls that align the city, which are replaced with something of the past age. During the day, there is not much activity but when the sun goes down, the street will be hustling and bustling with activity.

MEREKA SQUARE- Merdeka Square (Malay: Dataran Merdeka) is a square located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is situated in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. Literally Independence Square, it was formerly known as the Selangor Club Padang or simply the “Padang” (meaning “field” in Malay) and was used as the cricket green of the Selangor Club (now the Royal Selangor Club). It was here the Union Flag was lowered and the Malayan flag hoisted for the first time at midnight (time: 12:00 AM) on 31 August 1957. Since then, Merdeka Square has been the usual venue for the annual Merdeka Parade (National Day Parade).
