Kampung Baru Night Market is one of the historical market set up by local malay community in 1899 to provide traditional food, fresh vegetables, traditional drinks, cloths and many more. The neighbourhood itself offers plenty of sightseeing opportunities as it’s the oldest Malay village in the city centre, where you can find traditional timber homes, coconut and banana trees, while modern skyscrapers such as KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers can be seen from afar. Recently Saloma Bridge is added to this sight seeing in the neighbour.
We walked through the #market as it is not far from our house and we went there with our friend who just arrives from #vietnam to #malaysia. We took her out to introduce her to local delicates, sightseeing, and dinner. The market had a very different atmosphere, you can feel the simplicity and originality of people and their laughs. We had a fun time and our friend enjoyed it a lot.
