Genting Highlands Malaysia – New Year 2022 | AliouTV
In this video we take you to Genting highlands, one of the top attractions in Malaysia. Genting Highlands is a hill station city located on the peak of Mount Ulu Kali in Malaysia at 1.8 km elevation, this is in Pahang state.
This trip has been to celebrate new year in Genting. We arrived on new year’s eve and left on the following day.
Genting highlands indoor theme park is still the main attraction but the outdoor theme park may be opening soon.
Genting Winter Wonderland is open daily from 4 PM to 11 PM, and the artificial snowfall is open from December 12 to January 2. The entrance is free however you need to queue at Dips and Chips kiosk to get your free ticket. Genting Winter Wonderland Snowfall session is open at 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM.
For this trip we stayed at Amber Court hotel which is 7 minutes drive from the Resorts and costs around $50 the night. Genting is one of the top 10 attractions in Malaysia.
Driving to Genting right now is a bit tricky because of the rain and landslides that have been happening lately.
If you want to get away from Kuala Lumpur and get the fresh air and cold weather, then Genting highlands is the best place for you. Just 45 minutes drive away from KL.
