Torori Warabimochi @Lot10
Do you prefer Kinako (Soy Bean), Matcha, or Chocolate? The Torori Tenshi no Warabimochi pop-up store at J’s Gate Dining in Lot10 has been gaining traction among Japanese dessert lovers in Kuala Lumpur (especially Matcha fans). Unlike the typical mochis, these authentic Warabimochi snacks are soft, stretchy, and instantly melt in your mouth. Freshly made daily, the Warabimochi is generously coated with 3 different powders and prices vary from RM25 to RM30.
Another must-try are the range of Warabimochi beverages (RM20 each) that include Matcha, caramel latte, milk tea and cafe latte. However, our favourite is their new Hojitea drink. What makes these drinks uniquely good is the warabimochi at the bottom of the cup. Topped with super fluffy whipped cream, we love how the drinks aren’t too sweet, and indulgent with every sip. The Torori Warabimochi pop-up store will be running tentatively till the end of March, so do drop by Lot10 and be blown away.
