CelcomDigi Hajj Roaming Pass Returns; Now RM138 For 50 Days

0

CelcomDigi first introduced its Hajj Roaming Pass last year, obviously made for those making the pilgrimage in mind. The telco has brought it back again for this year, though with some changes to the plan, as well as some differences in the fine print.

Starting from the top, the CelcomDigi Hajj Roaming Pass now costs RM138, and is valid for 50 days, as long as you activate it by 30 June. You also technically get unlimited data for the duration, but rather than having its FUP limit being set at 2GB a day, it’s now 150GB for the duration of the pass. After that, you’ll be limited to 1Mbps. If you use mobile data outside of Saudi Arabia, you’ll be charged the standard Daily Internet Roaming rate.

Calls with the CelcomDigi Hajj Roaming Pass is the one that’s been changed a bit more significantly. Rather than having 30 minutes of calls both ways, you get unlimited incoming calls. You can pay RM20 to add 15 minutes to calls, limited to within Saudi Arabia, or calls back to Malaysia, but each add-on is only valid for 24 hours.

As before, you get the CelcomDigi Hajj Roaming Pass from either the Celcom Life or MyDigi app. It is listed as an option after selecting Saudi Arabia. You can find out more by hitting the links below, which lead to the Pass’ page and the FAQ page.
