Casio has launched a special website as part of its spring 2024 promotion for G-SHOCK shock-resistant watches, with a promotional visual featuring K-pop girl group ITZY, which has been a G-SHOCK brand ambassador since February 2023.
ITZY was signed on because of their powerful and personally-expressive songs and cool performances that give the band its sensational charm. All this makes for a phenomenal pairing with the G-SHOCK vision, defined by the brand’s concept of toughness.
In the promotional visual, the members of ITZY are all wearing new G-SHOCK watches — the GMA-P2100SG-1A, GMA-P2100SG-4A, GMA-S120VA-7A, and GMA-S140VA-7A.
The GMA-P2100SG-1A and GMA-P2100SG-4A evoke the gorgeous sight of a beach at sunset. The beautiful glitter of the summer sun setting over the water is represented by vapour deposition in a lustrous gradation of colour on the dial. These watches are based on the GMA-P2100, which is a smaller version of the popular GMA-S2100 analogue-digital combination timepiece.
The length of the band has also been adjusted to comfortably fit even slimmer wrists. The buckle and side button are made of stainless steel to add sophisticated textural appeal, enhancing the watch’s simple and minimalist look.
Key resin components used in the bezel and band are made with bio-based resin, a material produced using renewable organic resources that is expected to help reduce environmental impact. As a refreshing accent for a resort look, these G-SHOCK watches lend a touch of glamour to the wrist.
The GMA-S120VA-7A and GMA-S140VA-7A are based on the GMA-S120 and GMA-S140, respectively, which are more compact versions of ever-popular analogue-digital combination timepieces. Clad only in white, the dials and hour markers have been finished with silver vapour deposition, creating a dazzling and elegant vibe that also goes well with silvery accessories. These are great timepieces to finish a breezy summer or beach resort look.
This spring 2024 collection is now available in Malaysia on the Casio E-Commerce Website as well as in all authorised G-SHOCK Stores, G-Factory and authorised dealers. They’ve also created special site for all the ITZY fans to check out.
