10 to 15 years ago, there was all these hype around Malaysian properties, with a lot of focus on properties in the Iskandar region. Mega projects were splashing tens of millions of dollars in marketing to entice Singaporeans to buy there.
But because of COVID, and a lack of continued interest from the local government to push for the transformation as promised, many hot spots had been reduced to ghost towns.
