Bitcoin Explained, Bitcoin as Digital Gold, EU, US Treasury, OECD Ban Bitcoin’s original use case? Agree on tax policy & propose to replace SWIFT with RIPPLE XRP?
Today I talked about the history of Bitcoin, and what it means for it to be called a “store of value” and digitial gold. I also touch on the stance of “scarcity” of Bitcoin, and compare it to the over 150 hard-forks Bitcoin has had. The underlying technology is not unique to just Bitcoin, and has infact been replicated in each hard-forked currency. However, Bitcoin does have the “status” of being the FIRST crypto….which means alot.
A comment on my channel for my first video touched on the issues of how it would take the global government to stop Bitcoin, I briefly touch on the EU Comission their new stance on DAC7 and DAC8 regulating the digital economy and digital currency respectively, the OECD ( Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) and how the US Treasury may act regarding OECD issuing requirements for member states (of which the US Treasury is a member).
In the end I question which is better to serve the needs of money transfers Bitcoin or XRP.
