Fyi, Jln Alor has some restaurants with A/C rooms. We like W.A.W. (Wong Ah Wah). Ask for the AC room.😁 Order fried rice, baby gai lan (not the gai lan you are thinking of. It is our favorite. We get it every time), butter prawns, a steamed garouper, chicken wings.
If you stay at a Marriott brand, the Le Meridian has an awesome breakfast, but not the best locale. The Ritz Carlton has a pretty good one, too. We like the Ritz because they give the best upgrades. Usually a Jr. Suite (1 bed, 1.5 baths). Ask for club lounge access if you are Platinum/Titanium. They don't normally give it. The Ritz is in Starhill (FYI…Bukit Bintang = Star Hill). We've been going every year to escape cold SF in the winter.🥶 to 🥵.
I do long 8 mile walks in KL because I eat so much.🐷 I know how to use the many malls to cool down along the way. I wear cheap Costco moisture wicking tees.😁
There are cheap buses going to Genting, but I swear the bus drivers are frustrated F1 driver wanna be's.🤢 Go to Genting to escape the heat.

What is the science behind shawarma? I never get it because I think it's a food poisoning waiting to happen. The 100lb meat ball is out all day. The outside is cooking so what is the temp inside? 90°? Perfect for rapid bacterial growth? They build that massive meat ball with bare hands?
Maybe there is a science on how it isn't teeming with bacteria…

Theme of trip HOT, HOT, HOT where's the AC??????????

  • @mocrg

I don’t like KL as much as Penang. KL is too hot and dirty. Penang is a holiday island so it’s cleaner and less traffic.

  • @whatsitlike6392

Did I miss how much your curry soup meal was at the food court?

  • @roderickburns5151

Chris, I hope that you and your family enjoyed your trip to Kuala Lumpur!!!!!!

Hi Chris. Great informative video on KL Thanks for the time and effort in this video. . So much interest in Singapore that KL gets unnoticed. I think KL is a wonderful destination to add to a trip to Singapore or even a stand alone trip. It has great attractions, great scenery and great food options too. Hopefully more people will be interested in visiting KL. Thanks form sharing and take care.

  • @alexwallace6120

Thanks foor showing us a very large and vibrant city and with much to eat. The food looked simple but good, and the drink good with of tea baseed things. I don't how survived the heat and humidity,I guess lots of cool drinks, and taking advantage of the A/C.

  • @Rapture77

KL Tower is also a restaurant and its revolving tower so you can watch city swirl by as you eat .

  • @redsoxboi1

Isn’t the Merdeka 118 now the tallest Skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur now?? That would be an amazing place to see now 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥🔥

  • @KayH6

Genting d only legalized gambling?not! We also hv lucky numbers type gambling shops. Tissue in foodcourt is available at d cashier counter

  • @ashtriana1

If you have 5 days you could actually add kuala gandah elephant sanctuary (along with genting), kuala selangor – sekinchan strip, pulau ketam/pulau carey in your itinerary

  • @walidfilan2998

It's an insane combination between modern building with old one makes it astonishing as well as food prices you'll never find in anywhere else compare it to the USA market

  • @KingPlankton-b9p

According to research by the life insurance company PRUDENTIAL and data from the Malaysian Ministry Of Health, 1/3 of the malaysian population suffers from mental disorders, namely NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder).

  • @Yasin_Affandi

Welcome to KL Malaysia. Hope that you had a good time and a pleasant stay. And hope that you enjoyed your explorations in KL. And hope that you had a good start to 2025.

  • @patrikviera2007

I don't care for Shake Shack's burgers. They're overpriced, and not that great. I did however try their Singapore exclusive Pandan Shake during a layover at Changi. It's still probably the best shake I've ever had that's not a vanilla shake. Might give the Bunga Raya Shake a try whenever I am in KL next.

  • @ChuckNorrizzed

When will you be making a cross country trip to China?

  • @bevvyloo7952

Perfect content for me as after watching your Singapore vlogs I’ve booked a trip to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang & Langkawi from London in Feb 2026 for my husbands ‘special’ birthday 🎈🥳
I love how informative your vlogs are, thank you 🙏🏽

  • @neku2741

So few youtuber I see made a video of them visiting the country's museum and culture center, those are what I want to see more.

  • @DevAnggraini

I’ve been to KL several times and not going to go again soon, yet I enjoy this video. I think it’s mostly because of your energy and enthusiasm. Well done!

  • @Peizxcv

  • @smalto22

was funny to watch how you spoke so naturally about charging RM195 for a photo book :))))

  • @DelhiBelly1620

Awesome “movie” !!! Do you have the name of those pants you wore that detached at the knees to become shorts?? I like that. Better than buying the overpriced elephant pants outside the venue 😂

  • @FireTiger8866

Im going to malaysia on may 12, 2025. Best place to stay?

  • @98Lucero
