In this travel vlog, we decided to take a local bus to check out Rantau Panjang, a border townin Kelantan, about an hour from Kota Bharu that sits half in Malaysia, and half in Thailand! The Golok River runs right through the city, and this river is also an international border. This town is NOT a tourist attraction, and in this video we are really looking for some hidden gems that are way off the beaten path. This is a Malaysia travel vlog right to the core — we didn’t know what to expect from the people, the food, or the experience.
Like in all kampung, we met some great locals, and many who were ‘Thai-Malaysian’! Very interesting, friendly and entertaining people. Kampung life seems to be the best life!
Steve was feeling like a kampung boy again, and really loving Malaysia. So, he decided to get a Ahmad Saiful #35 printed on a Malaysian National Football jersey. He feels right at home now. Stay tuned for more Kota Bharu travel vlogs and Malaysia travel vlogs. Let’s travel Malaysia together! #cuticutimalaysia
