This is the place to go to if you are looking for anything that can be bought in a street market. The prices are negotiable at the very least, the street vendors expect you to haggle over them so you can be sure that the low prices can be brought down even further.
Souvenirs, clothes, watches, jewellery, CDs, DVDs, food & drinks and so much more, the list is endless. If you want it, they have it. Obviously, you can’t expect to find genuine brands here, but if you do not mind buying imitations, you should definitely come and shop as much as you want.
This is surely one of Kuala Lumpur’s most atmospheric neighbourhoods. The ambience is irresistible, and you will quickly find yourself surrounded by Malaysian culture and feeling like a local. The market is one of the most popular places to go to both during the day and during the night. The market does not die out after sunset, and most of the shops do not close until midnight. Some of them are even open non-stop.
